Add batteries & EV charger upsells to your funnel is a great way to engage and upsell your customers in the funnel. Find step-by-step directions for customizing EV chargers and batteries in your Demand IQ Funnel below.
What You'll Need:
- Title of Batteries / EV Charger.
- A written description of Batteries / EV Chargers to display.
- The monthly cost of Batteries / EV Chargers.
Batteries
Step 1:
- EV chargers and batteries can be added/ edited toward the end of the funnel configurator. To get to this point, click the Configurator tab and select Edit Funnel. Click Next in the top right until you see the screenshot below (Step 29):
Step 2: Toggle on Use Battery
Step 3: Add battery information:
- You can list up to 3 batteries
- If you carry more than 3 batteries, we recommend adding your most popular batteries here.
- Title: Name of Battery
- Description: This is where you can add a short description of this battery and its differentiation from your other batteries (if applicable). * Note: there is a 225-character limit for the description.
- Cost: The cost that you input is the cost that will be displayed, this will not automatically calculate the monthly cost from the total cost. DO NOT put the total cost, we recommend calculating the monthly cost of the battery based on the lending offer from step 17.
- For example, if your battery was $10,000 and your lending offer is a 25-year term the cost you input should be $33.
Step 4: Save
- After you have added all of this information, select save you will then see this battery option displayed.
If you need to edit or remove a battery option, select the pencil to edit or the trash can to remove the battery option.
(Optional) Step 5: Add more batteries- To add more battery options, repeat the same above steps.
EV Chargers
Adding an EV charger upsell option is also on step 29 of the configurator and is a very similar process to adding a battery option. Keep in mind, you can only list 1 EV charger in the funnel. If you carry more than one, we recommend adding your most popular EV charger.
Below the battery option, there is another button to toggle on if you want to add an EV charger as an upsell opportunity.
Step 1: Toggle on Use Charger
Step 2: Add EV Charger information:
- You can list one EV Charger option
- If you carry more than one EV Charger option, we recommend adding your most popular EV Charger.
Step 3:
- Title: Name of Charger
- Description: This is where you can add a short description of your EV charger. * Note: there is a 225-character limit for the description.
- Cost: Input the monthly cost of the EV Charger. The cost that you input is the cost that will be displayed, this will not automatically calculate the monthly cost from the total cost. DO NOT enter the total cost, we recommend calculating the monthly cost of the battery based on the lending offer from step 17.

Congratulations! Your Batteries and EV Chargers are now part of your Demand IQ funnel!
