There are thousands of methods and tools to design and develop websites. This articles covers three of the most popular website platforms: Wordpress, Squarespace and Wix.
No matter who built your website or how it was done, the functionality to add the banner almost certainly exists.
Instructions
Log in to the Demand IQ Portal.
Click Configurator, then click Banner.
Locate the section titled Banner Widget Script. Click Copy.
The next steps depend on how your website was built.
The code snippet from the banner must be placed in between the <head></head> tags on each page you would like the banner to appear on. This is the same area you might have added code snippets for Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other tracking snippets.
This section of your website builder likely titled Code Injection, Header Snippets, or Custom Code.
Platform-Specific Instructions
Wordpress
There are hundreds of Wordpress plugins that perform the code injection function. This plugin is free and highly rated by the Wordpress Community. This functionality may also exist in your theme settings.
Squarespace
Please use Squarespace's built-in code injection tool.
Please note, you must be on a Business or Commerce plan to have this feature enabled.
Wix
Please use Wix's built-in custom code tool.
Do not enable the reloading of the <head> tags upon each refresh.
Custom Website
If you or your website team built a custom website, make sure to place the snippet in the <head></head> tags of every page you want the banner to appear on.
